SRH&PS Meeting

(2/17/2024) The South River Historical & Preservation Society will hold its February meeting at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, February 21st at the South River Museum (64-66 Main Street). The program for this meeting will be "The Garden State: Where Ideas Grow - A History of Inventing in New Jersey: From Thomas Edison to the Ice Cream Cone." Please join us as author Linda Barth presents her knowledge of groundbreaking, useful, fun, and even silly inventions and their New Jersey Roots! The program is free to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

Imperial Music Center Concerts

(2/17/2024) The Imperial Band of South River will hold their annual Saint Patrick's Day concert, "The Hearin' o'  the Green", on Sunday, March 3rd at 2:00 PM. It takes place at the Imperial Music Center located at 48 Appleby Avenue, South River. All are welcome! Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase. Admission is free. Donations are accepted. (1/12/2024) Pet licenses for 2024 are now available. Pursuant to borough code, dogs and cats having having attained the age of seven months or possessing a set of permanent teeth must be registered with the borough. Rabies certificates must be valid through 10/31/2024. To register, view and print the Dog and Cat License Application (PDF).
