SRH&PS Meeting

(9/26/2023) The South River Historical & Preservation Society will host its next meeting and program on Wednesday, September 27th. As a lead-in to the United States Semiquincentennial in 2026, historian Donald Johnstone Peck will present a program featuring remembrances of the critical year 1776, from the arrest of Royal Governor William Franklin to the Battles of Trenton and Princeton. D.J. Peck is the author of A Spirited War: George Washington and the Ghosts of the American Revolution in Central New Jersey and four other books about the history of Central New Jersey. The event takes place at the South River Museum (64-66 Main Street) on Tuesday, September 27th at 7:00 PM. Light refreshments will be served. For more information, contact the SRH&PS.

Imperial Music Center Concerts

(9/19/2023) The Imperial Band of South River will hold their monthly concert on Sunday, October 1st at 2:00 PM. It takes place at the Imperial Music Center located at 48 Appleby Avenue, South River. The theme for this month's concert is "Broadway! Movies! Pops!".. All are welcome! Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase. Admission is free. Donations are accepted. Back to School Rush Safety

The New Jersey Poison Control Center is sharing information to help reduce these. Blue Cares Addiction Program

(9/1/2023) September is National Recovery Month. The South River Police Department is offering a reminder that If you or someone you know is battling substance abuse and addiction, recovery help is available through the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office "Blue Cares" program.
