The Cultural Arts and Heritage Commission is established under South River Borough Ordinance. The Mission Statement of the Cultural Arts and Heritage Commission is:
"To Celebrate Our Town's Heritage By Bringing Together and Promoting the Diverse Cultures within South River Through Various Programs and Events with the Hope of Creating Harmony and a True Sense of Community"
