Public Works

New Jersey's plastic bag ban goes into effect on May 4th. South River residents can receive three (3) reusable South River grocery bags from the South River Department of Public Works. Bags can be picked up at the DPW office during their business hours while supplies last. For more information on New Jersey's plastic bag ban, visit the Bag Up NJ website. For more information on compliance for businesses, visit New Jersey Business Action Center's information page.
